Q. Can we request twin beds or a travel cot?
The bedroom in the lodges can be set up as a Super King bed or as two singles (twin room). We can also provide cots upon request. Please request this in the comment section when booking online.

Q. Can I access the Carlingford Lough Greenway directly from the lodges?
There is no formal access point onto the Greenway from Cornamucklagh. However, we are currently exploring options with Louth County Council and hope this can be rectified as soon as possible.
You can currently access the Greenway from Victoria Lock Gates, Omeath Village or Carlingford Marina.

Q. Is there a pub/restaurant on site and does it serve food?
Yes, Cornamucklagh House is our family pub. However, we do not currently serve food. This is something we are actively working on reintroducing.
You can order a local Chinese takeaway, which delivers. You can have this in the bar or in your lodge. This is through Shanggarden Chinese in Carlingford.

Q. Are the Lodges dog-friendly?
Two of our lodges are dog-friendly, with a maximum of two dogs per lodge.
There is a €60 pet charge per pet, per stay.

This covers the additional deep cleaning required after a pet stay, including upholstery, floors, and ensuring the lodge is fully prepared for the next guests.

We will also have some dog-friendly treats and a dog bed & bowls ready for their stay.
This is subject to availability.
You can “Add Pet” when booking online.

Q. When will the Narrow Water Bridge be open?
The current timeline estimates completion by late 2027, subject to construction progress and weather conditions.
